Maya Communications Inc. Refund, Return & Exchange Policy

Returns and Exchanges

At Maya Communications, we want to make sure you’re happy with your purchase. If you’re not satisfied, you can return your purchase for an exchange or refund provided that you meet the following criteria:

  1. Proof of purchase: You have the original sales receipt or order email.
  2. Product is in its original condition with all accessories: For an exchange or refund, your purchase must be in the same condition in which you received it with all of its original packaging, accessories, and user guides. You may be given a partial refund if the product you’re returning is not in it’s original condition, missing any packaging, accessories, and user guides. Please note: Once opened, headphones, Bluetooth headsets, VR headsets cannot be returned due to health and safety reasons. On-sale items are also non-returnable.
  3. Returned within 15 days from the date of delivery: If we approve your return after inspection, Maya Communications will offer you an exchange or a refund. If you have not initiated the return process within 15-days from the date of delivery, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
  4. Device passwords, personal data and locks are removed: Please remove all personal data from any returned items (e.g. phonebook data, memory cards, user accounts and passwords). Once the product is returned, it cannot be traced to recover personal data. Maya Communications is not responsible for any unauthorized use of personal data left on returned devices. For assistance on how to factory reset your phone, please contact us.

How to Return Your Product

  1. Please ensure your order meets the above mentioned requirements.
  2. Next, please send us an email at support@mayacomm.ca with your order number and name to begin the return process.
  3. Finally, please allow up to 48 hours for our reply before proceeding further. If you do not get a response within 48 hours, please contact us, and we will be happy to help you.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, usually within 7 business days (the exact time frame may vary, depending on your bank’s or credit card company’s policies and procedures).


Partial Refunds

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • New products with obvious signs of use.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts, accessories, user manuals, or packaging for reasons not due to our error.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, please use the following steps:

  1. First check your bank account again.
  2. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  3. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  4. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us, and we will be happy to help you.

Shipping

You should mail your package to: 2525 Finch Ave W, Toronto, ON, M9M 2G1, Canada. Please address your package to Maya Communications on the shipping label.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping cost when returning your item (unless you are returning a defective product or a product that was shipped incorrectly due to an error on our part).
